Capture the Flag Presented by Hack the Box

This exciting Capture the Flag event is hosted by Hack The Box (HTB) and is completely free and open to all Summit attendees!                                                       

If you are already signed up to attend the CTF event, we look forward to your participation. If you haven't signed up yet, there's still time to join in on the fun! Whether you're an experienced CTF participant or trying it for the first time, all are welcome and encouraged to participate!

What is CTF?

CTF (or Capture the Flag) is a competitive game where participants solve security challenges to find specific goals or "flags." It helps participants learn cybersecurity techniques and concepts like forensics and system vulnerabilities in a hands-on, practical way, through potential hacking processes. No experience, no problem! This CTF has challenges for all skill levels and volunteers to assist with questions along the way. CTF competitions are not only educational but incredibly fun!

Teams and Skill Levels

Participants can sign up as individuals or as teams of 4 with all skill levels welcomed. If you do not have a team and would like to join with a group, at the conference we will have the means to add players to teams that are looking for members.

Event Details

When: October 29 from 6 p.m. – 1 a.m.

Where: Main Exhibition Area

What to bring: You will need your computer to access the Hack the Box virtual machine to participate. No need for any special systems settings.

Refreshments: Two food trucks will be on-site from 7 p.m. - 9:30 p.m. for you to purchase some local food and a cash bar will also be available till 10 p.m.
