As the Main Street Awards end by 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, March 19, we encourage you to stick around after the Awards to explore all that Wausau has to offer.

  • Explore downtown Wausau's culinary scene by dining at a local restaurant.
  • Visit one of Wausau's museums or galleries - they are known as 'Arts Town, USA' due to Wausau's vibrant cultural institutions 
  • Explore the great outdoors right at Wausau's doorstep 

If you're planning to stay overnight on Thursday, March 19, WEDC has set up a room block at the Jefferson Street Inn, located steps away from the Grand Theater. Call (715) 845-6500 and mention the "WEDC Room Block" when booking to receive a discounted room rate of $140 .
